We are just about ten days out from the IPSB Close Protection Conference held December 8th through the 10th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The IPSB, a non-profit organization, formed in 2016, brought together several organizations that held separate annual events under one roof to create the Close Protection Conference.
In giving back to the industry with hopes of improving the industry as a whole, Peeler Group International proudly sponsored and supported this inaugural conference and has each year since – this year is no exception as we look forward to the 2021 conference!
In 2016 Bill Peeler, founder, and CEO of The Peeler Group, Inc., led a panel discussing the business of Close Protection, wherein an open conversation evolved regarding practices and standards found at that time in the protection industry. The discussion during this panel was uncomfortable for some but certainly, provided needed dialogue between business owners and practitioners in our industry. Now, five years later, we anticipate the conversation about standards will be the center of discussion as a few organizations begin creating their version of standards exclusively for Close Protection.
As Las Vegas is home to our West Coast operations, Peeler Group International will be in attendance, and we look forward to welcoming attendees to this year’s conference. – be sure to stop by our table and say hello and register for some free giveaways!
